Alumni College Scholarship Opportunities

1. The Alumni Heritage Scholarship

As a school, we are invested not only in our students today, but in their futures as well. In keeping with that priority, MCS established the Alumni Heritage Scholarship. The Alumni Heritage Scholarship is funded entirely by the gracious, personal contributions from MCS faculty and staff.  Over the past 26 years, these dedicated educators have donated over $70,000 in scholarships to Alumni who have gone on to attend many fine institutions.

Recipients of the scholarship are those who carry the mission of “building a firm foundation through Christ-centered education” into their high school years. They are individuals who best represent vibrant faith, solid academics, Christ-like character and leadership, and an ongoing relationship with MCS.

To qualify, you must be a member of the MCS Alumni Class of 2018.

The application period is from March 15 – April 29, 2022. No applications will be considered after this deadline.

Please download the application for complete information.

The application period is from March 15 – April 29, 2022. No applications will be considered after this deadline.

Background to the Be Brave Scholarship: “While student teaching for high school students, part of her class time was spent helping students apply for scholarships. As they looked for scholarships, Mrs. Willis noticed there were no scholarships available to students who struggle academically. God put a dream on her heart to one day create a scholarship available to students who have a learning need and, despite their challenges, have been able to succeed and are stronger because of it in ways that don’t always show up on a report card. Her hope is that this scholarship will encourage and support students with learning needs who want to pursue higher education goals.”
