Head of School

Dear MCS Parents,
And we’re off! The hallways are buzzing, classrooms are once again full of life and energy, excitement is in the air, and we don’t want it any other way! With great anticipation, the entire team—administration, faculty, and staff—counted down to the return of our students. During the countdown, we dedicated much time to preparing for the year ahead. We also dedicated time to bonding as a staff family and nothing bonds more than a little dancing. Check out the fun we had together, as well as our dancing skills, in this back to school video starring the entire MCS staff family. The greatest and most important preparation for the year was covering everything in prayer. We couldn’t be more excited to see how God will move in our students, classrooms, school, and MCS families throughout this year!
We are committed to continual prayer as we seek God’s will and journey through the year together. It is with great confidence and faith that we believe this will be an amazing year for each of our students as they grow spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally. It is with great faith that we surrender this new year to God and ask for Him to have His way. It is with great intention that we seek to grow in our understanding of who He is and who we are in Him so that, in our lives, our school, and our community we Reflect the Son. “And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into His glorious image.” 2 Corinthians 3:18b
Our desire is to partner with you every step of the way. In partnership, we ask that you join us in praying because, as 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, we believe when God’s people humble themselves, pray, and seek, God hears and answers. God’s people, unified in prayer, are a mighty force. Let’s be a mighty force together and, at the end of the year, we trust there will be great God stories and victories to celebrate! Anticipating an amazing year together, as one family, purposed to reflect Him!
In Him,
Heather Harrison
