The Alumni Heritage College Scholarship Program

The Alumni Heritage College Scholarship Program was established in 2003 by the faculty and staff of MCS with the intent of encouraging college-bound alumni in their educational pursuits. Each year, teachers, staff, and administrators have the opportunity to donate to this fund, which has resulted in 100% participation for the past three years!

One-hundred percent of the proceeds are transformed into college scholarships opportunities to graduates who best represent the mission of Mariners Christian School. Awardee(s) are determined by a committee that reviews applications and utilizes a detailed rubric for evaluation and selection. Awardees are notified by phone.

Since its founding, the Alumni Heritage College Scholarship has generated over $32,000 in Alumni college scholarship funding.

The Alumni Heritage Scholarship is open for submissions. Deadline for submission is 4/27/2026. Click Here for Application

BE BRAVE: A Scholarship to Support Alumni Students with Disabilities

The Be Brave Scholarship was established in 2019 by the Willis family.

“The Willis family has a heart and passion for supporting students with learning needs. As a long time Student Support Teacher, Mrs. Willis has a heart and passion for supporting students with unique styles of learning. This passion was cultivated further when, as part of teaching high school students, she spent time helping students apply for college scholarships. In the search, Mrs. Willis noticed there were no scholarships available to students who struggle academically. God placed a dream in her heart to one day create a scholarship available to students with learning needs who, despite their challenges, have succeeded and are stronger because of it. The Willis family’s hope is that this scholarship will encourage and support students with disabilities to pursue higher education goals.”

The Be Brave Scholarship for 2026 is now open to all MCS Alumni who will be attending college, junior college, trade school, training programs, or internships for employment in the 2026-2027 school year. Click Here for Application
