Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good deeds and give glory to your Father who is in Heaven.

Matthew 5:16

Phase III Begins!

God has been so good to the MCS community and our new facilities now provide the ample space needed to expand our academic offerings in elementary and middle school. We step forward into Phase III trusting and believing all the Lord has ahead for MCS.

Building a firm foundation through Christ-centered education

Our vision since 1987 has been to provide students with an exemplary faith-based educational experience, developing their spiritual and academic strengths in preparation for high school, college, and their professional callings. As we transform our current campus into a thoroughly modern 21st Century learning environment for children, we will create spaces where our remarkable staff carry out the MCS mission in new and innovative ways, where students flourish and discover their God-given talents and passions, and where families find connection and belonging with other Christian parents. Perhaps most significant of all, our vision is to build upon MCS’s 33-year legacy as a leader in Christian education and establish a reputation that can serve as an exemplar for other schools, a model resource and training ground for best-in-class Christian education.

Our Core Values serve as guideposts for every facility improvement, academic program, spiritual growth opportunity, faculty hire and strategic decision.

With the completion of Bright Future Phase II, we're now able to implement academic programming we've been planning for several years. Additional classrooms, meeting rooms, and improved traffic flow allow these innovative programs to come to life, making a positive impact on all of our students across elementary and middle schools.

Bright Future's Phase III and Beyond

Now that the physical modifications of Phase I and II are completed, we focus new attention to three critical strategic goals in Phase III.

First, we plan to purchase flexible furniture to complete our modernized learning environments, enabling maximum opportunities for the individual student or group. This furniture can be strategically configured by teachers or students based upon varying needs to enhance and support our innovative academic programs and changing technology needs. Whether it is a new project that a class is tackling or a different grade level using a particular classroom, having flexible furniture means more options and more learning.

Our second objective is paying off debt which is crucial for long term sustainability. Our priority is to quickly pay off our mortgage and other obligations. Being debt free allows us to focus on other priorities, especially aligning our teaching salaries with the public schools.

Our third and final goal for Phase III is to expand our existing endowment fund to increase financial aid and scholarship opportunities. It is our heart to bless families and students who would thrive as members of this community but may be prohibited due to cost.

Key Strategic Goals:

  1. Purchase flexible furniture to complete our modernized learning environments
  2. Pay off debt to maintain financial sustainability
  3. Expand our endowment fund for student financial aid and scholarship opportunities

Our Core Values serve as guideposts for every facility improvement, academic program, spiritual growth opportunity, faculty hire and strategic decision.
